Really professional team working in holiday inn express Gloucester South. Made me feel so welcome. Professional and efficient team made my stay so enjoyable. Shout out to Luke, Lucy and Tanis.
Stayed here two nights with my family. The room was perfect for us, breakfast was good, although we got to it late (bacon was a little dry), there was still a variety of cooked English , pastry’s, fruit and cereal available. Staff were helpful (room below us was noisy after 10 pm and staff dealt with it promptly ), friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend the stay.
A very nice well located Express close to the M5 with plenty of local amenities on hand such as pubs, restaurants, shops & things to see. The Quays only 3 miles down the road as well as Glos Cathedral. Cheltenham is only a short drive away as is Tewkesbury. Stroud is also not that far away as is the Slim bridge Wildlife Pk.
Lovely, comfy and spotless room. Nice we be at area with a decent pint. Staff all been fantastic, very helpful. Breakfast was pretty good as well.
Good location near to shops and restaurants. Easy access off of the main roads. 10 minutes away from Gloucester Quay. Staff not quick to greet, but friendly when you get to them. Hot drinks available and a microwave in the bar/restaurant area (useful if you bought a microwave meal in Lidl or Asda nearby) Rooms are clean, checked the bed and was happy with the standards. Car park is roomy and there's a pub next door that serves food and drink. TV in room, no fridge, but plenty of plugs.
Very clean rooms and general hotel. Staff were brilliant, breakfast is just as advertised and very welcome. Gluten free options were available on display and ask for bread/ toast. Could ask for more. Location is noisy, next to busy carriageway. Double glazed and brilliant, however, very stuffy and opened windows were great until traffic restarted. Fans are supplied, so options are there. Secured plentiful car park
Good night’s sleep after a long journey with traffic delays. Room was great. Great value. Staff very friendly, shout out to Manny who politely checked us in and there again during breakfast. Great breakfast, a fellow guest complained they didn’t stock earl grey tea bags … I politely replied they were well stocked with everything else!!! Sadly can’t give the same review for FIVE STAR TAXIS
Great hotel, very clean and tidy rooms with all the facilities that you could require. In addition a fantastic cooked breakfast is available to set you up for the day, highly recommended.
